Chapter 3 Check Point Security Administration

After the Check Point appliances and servers are installed on the Gaia operating system and configured, some initial setup is required in the SmartConsole database for these devices to work properly.

Learning Objectives:

Create SmartConsole objects that correspond to the organization’s topology for use in policies and rules.
Establish secure internal communication (SIC).
Create secondary administrator accounts for backup and task-based management.

All items in this module and the virtual labs must be completed prior to Module 5.
