Introduction to Check Point Quantum Security Management

Security Management covers all aspects of protecting an organization’s assets-including computers, people, buildings, and other assets-against risk. This chapter reviews concepts and terminology with which you should be familiar to effectively support a Check Point Security Management solution.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the primary components of a Check Point Three-Tier Architecture and explain how they work together in the the Check Point environment.
  • Define and explain the differences between standalone and distributed deployments.
  • Explain how communication is secured and how traffic is routed in the Check Point environment.

All items in this module and the virtual labs must be completed prior to Module 3.
