Evaluation License Expiration

In the Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) virtual labs, the Evaluation License expires because it is a temporary license provided by Check Point to allow users to explore and test the full functionality of their security solutions. The evaluation period lasts 14 days, after which the license becomes invalid, limiting further access to the full range of capabilities.

This 14 day period begins when you first start the A-SMS or A-GUI virtual machines. There are two options available to overcome this error if it is incurred.

• Reimage the lab and begin from the beginning.
• Follow the instructions in the video below and install the license on the A-SMS virtual machine.
